Better late than never, and with that said there's no finer way to end 2012 with one of Asia's largest ACG conventions, Comic Fiesta. At the same time the trip to Malaysia itself was a good breather to simply to have fun and let loose with friends as we stayed for a good number of days after the event itself.
With it being a two day event and with the best Malaysia has to offer one would be inclined to see all kinds of crazy and amazing things. There were simply too many characters to pick from so I just picked those that mainly caught my eye and were convenient at the time. It was safe to say that there were many more amazing and crazy characters there however with the size and layout of the event I wasn't able to be everywhere at once.
Below is only about half of what I took but the full album can be found here on Flickr since I probably already bombarded this journal entry with too many photos.
Booths
Aside from cosplayers there were plenty of things to see (and buy) at the creators/doujin booths. I personally spent more than I should have as I'm pretty embarrassed to disclose the amount but I can easily say it was worth it. The number of wonderful handmade and self-crafted items were too good to pass up. Eventually I found myself bringing home taking several bags of goodies thus encumbering myself. With the help from friends I was able to bring them back safely in one piece. Thanks guys!.
Da Capo
With the start of the new year already come and gone everyone has more or less have their resolutions set in stone I've made some of my own. Although there aren't many cosplay events at the start of the year there are a couple of notable events for myself. One of them being Chinese New Year where celebrations are in order for most of my friends and family filled with gatherings and house visits.
The next major thing would be me returning to Sydney to finish my studies at university which I'm dreading. The world of Information Technology isn't exactly exciting so I'm not to thrilled to returning to it. On the brighter side it means back to the world of pizzas, toasties, jaffers, fish and chips, subway and other Aussie delights. On top of that there's an upcoming cosplay event called Animania in Sydney in which I'll be attending so it will be nice to catch up with friends there as well. Until then I shall make most of my time here for now.

That aside, all the best in this new year and good luck with the completion of your studies.
Gotta agree, the world of IT isn't that exciting at all...
