It's been quite sometime since I last did an update. Lately I've been swamp with assignments and a few other deadlines. I've been neglecting a few other aspects of my life which would probably include photography and my friends so hopefully once the semester has ended for uni I'll be able to get back on track.
Anime
In the mean time I've been trying to catch up on anime squeezing in the quick episode here and there whether it be at home, at uni or even on the way to work. Managed to watch a few shows like:
- Kokoro Connect
- Shingeki no Kyojin
- Danganronpa
- Garden of Words
I must say Makoto Shinkai's works never cease to amaze me though Garden of Words wasn't as good as some of his previous work he still managed to emotionally captivate me and genuinely care about his characters in the matter of 45 mins (which is shorter than most movies and films). Other than that, the visuals were amazing as always as many scenes managed to trick my eyes as they were rather photo-realistic.
Shingeki no Kyojin has been pretty much stolen the spotlight from last seasons anime with it being rather unconventional in terms of story telling. I don't normally read manga but the clifhangers from the anime has left me with no choice but to read onwards as the season has ended. For those that haven't read up to the latest manga, prepare yourselves heh.
Danganronpa was pretty fun-filled though I haven't played the game I'm told it is much better which is safe to say as the anime was only a mere 13 episodes. The entire show felt like one giant cutscene and the way they chose to approach in telling the story was interesting. I can only hope to get my hands on the game to try it out and see which is better.
And finally, Kokoro Connect which left me tugging at my heartstrings (more so than Garden of Words). What can I say, I enjoy a good slice-of-life / romance drama. Normally I'm not a big fan of supernatural elements being mixed in but it had just the right amount that it made things interesting. It was nice to see the show concluded nicely though I wish there was more since it felt like things were just only getting started (especially on certain character's relationships). I can only hope for a followup season I guess.
EB Expo Games
Recently EB Expo took place which is one of Sydney's bigger gaming conventions. Though I went with the intention of taking photos I found myself just catching up with old friends and watching the League of Legends world finals.
Prints
In the mean time I did some prints in which I don't normally do. I thought it would be nice to give back something to the cosplayers who have worked kindly and patiently with me. With that said I was thinking about printing a few more photos for a giveaway but I wasn't sure on how well that would turn out. Maybe later in the year perhaps.
Final Fantasy X - Yuna
Though I wasn't really photographically active over the weeks I managed to get a shoot in. It just happen to be that the Cherry Blossoms were in season as well. A big thanks to Pokami for inviting me down for a photoshoot as I was in dire need to get outside.
Shingeki no Kyojin Photoshoot + Daily Deviant
Over the months I've been slowly releasing photos from the Shingeki no Kyojin shoot I had quite some time back. What really struck me unexpectedly was getting a Daily Deviant for one of the photos. I'm not exactly sure how Daily Deviants work but I appreciated it a lot.

Mass Effect Photoshoot
Some time before I left Singapore a few months ago, I managed to join in a quick Mass Effect photoshoot. I played all the games so it was mind blowing to see my favourite characters come to life, especially Garrus since he is my favourite.
SMASH 2013
Though SMASH was probably the biggest anime convention this year surprisingly enough I only took one photo which I was pretty happy with.
Cosfest 2013
Though Cosfest 2013 was in July I still haven't got around to finishing the rest of those photos. I only managed to complete a good number of photos but not all of them. Pandora Hearts
